Women of Grace - Statement of Faith
We believe that all Scripture is inspired by God for the purpose of correction and training in our new righteous nature in Jesus, so that every child of God may be complete in Christ and be equipped for every good work!
2 Timothy 3:16-17: 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. NKJV
We believe that salvation is a gift from God and can only be received by grace through faith in Jesus! In Jesus there is complete forgiveness for all your sins (past, present, and future). Every one who trusts in Him is freed from all guilt and declared righteous, something the law could never do!
Acts 13:38-39: In this man Jesus, there is forgiveness of your sins! Everyone who trusts in Him is freed from all guilt and declared righteous, something the law of Moses could never do! TLB
Ephesians 2:8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. NLT
We believe that before the foundation of the world, the Father chose us in Christ as the focus of His love. The Good News is that the Father reconciled you to Himself through the death of Jesus. Through faith in Him, you are made holy and righteous as a free gift of His grace, and you stand before him without a single fault! By One sacrifice He made you perfect forever!
Colossians 1:22-23 Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. 23 But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed to proclaim it. NLT
Hebrews 10:14For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. NLT
We believe that it is in Christ that we find out who we truly are and what we are living for. When we hear the truth of our new identity in Jesus, and we believe it, we are free to experience the glorious life that Jesus came to give us!
Ephesians 1:11-14: It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone. It’s in Christ that you, once you heard the truth and believed it…, found yourselves home free—signed, sealed, and delivered by the Holy Spirit. This signet from God is the first installment on what’s coming, a reminder that we’ll get everything God has planned for us, a praising and glorious life. MSG

We believe that all the promises of God are “Yes!” and “Amen!” in Christ! You can do nothing to earn God’s blessings or qualify for them. We are qualified because of Jesus! They are a gift of God’s grace to all those who believe in His finished work! When we say, “Amen!” to His promises, our lives glorify Him!
2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. NIV
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the spirit of grace, sent by Jesus to guide us into all truth and empower us to produce the fruit of righteousness. Human effort will never produce the fruit of God’s spirit in our lives. Only those who abide in Jesus will experience true love, joy, and peace.
Galatians 5:22-23: 22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! NLT
We believe that grace is not an excuse to live in sin, but the power to live free from sin! Those who receive God’s overflowing grace and His free gift of righteousness will triumph over sin and reign as a king in life through Jesus!
Romans 6:1,2,14: Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? 2 Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? 14 Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace. NLT
Romans 5:17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ. NLT
